Outdoor settings for G3

Hello -

Can anyone recommend settings for an outdoor shot with a cloudy overcast? and one for a bright sunny day?

Yeah use the landscape mode and change the white balance for what ever kind of day it is.

let me see.. if it's a cloudy day, set white balance to 'cloud', and if its sunny.. set white balance to 'sun' .. simple really, hehe..

Most of the time Auto works fine on bright sunny days, unless you are shooting something under a shade. Cloudy, overcast days can be tricky at times. To play it safe, shoot in Auto but in RAW so you can later make adjustments later if necessary. I bought a Wallace Expo/Disc to avoid white balance problems like this.
