Curiously Strong

Heheh... the colors are meant to be 'curiously strong', as well. ;-)

I thought similarly about the challenge idea. Heheh... I guess I'm just waiting for the challenge to come along that fits my pictures.

Actually, today I'm thinking "in process". I had a few ideas today that I was trying just for overall concept. This was one of them. And with a bit more "layering" of a few concepts, I'd like to at some point turn this one into something more complex and rich.

Yep. Believe it or not... onions, garlic and Altoids are one day going to look pretty. ;-)
Dump some of those rich colors and you have yourself a bona-fide
challenge entry ;-)

Thanks.

I love the lemony zestful flavor of the citrus Altoids. The sourness lasts all the way through to its end. I like that about it. I haven't tried spearmint, however. What do you think of those?
Beautiful picture. So, how are those citrus Altoids anyway? I
have been meaning to try them. I like the new spearmint flavor
myself.

They are my favorite of the mint Altoids. Not quite as overpowering of a flavor.

Hey that brings back memories :)

The day I left America to fly back to Australia I went to WalMart and got a few last things, and grabbed a can of those Cinnamon things to take home, and I made sure no one got to try them hehehe:)
Hid them in my cars console......those things have a truly wonderful taste.
I gotta get some more when I go back next year :)

keep your eyes open for new Altoids strips.
Just like those Listerine strips, but Altoids flavors.
So far Peppermint and Cimanin, I mean Cinnanmon.
Far stronger than the original mints.

Darn good in my opinion.

Its like when I was an exchange student in Germany. They were selling a beer over there marketed as "America's Favorite Beer". It was a brand I have NEVER heard of.
Nice shots...

If you used a “real” wood table, I think the photo would have something to gain, never less the photo is very good.

They're only "made" in GB, not "sold".

Actually, Kraft Foods owns Callard&Bowser now.
I'm pretty sure you've heard of Kraft at least.

I've never gotten a good answer from my wife (the Kraft person in the family) of why they don't sell them in GB, but they definitely do not sell them there anymore. Originally way back when, yes they did.

Don't worry though, there are plenty of things Kraft sells abroad that they don't sell here. Not even in their company store at the corporate office. I for one would love to get Kraft peanut butter (very sweet) regularly, but it's only in Canada.

Oh well.........

I did wonder about that. :-)

But you know how it is here in the States. Whenever we see that something is made in the UK, filmed there, or otherwise associated with the UK, people here often think of something high-quality. AND with good reason. :-)

Actually, my DOF is rather shallow in this shot.

I was using F3.2, and the word "Press" on the citrus cannister was used as the focus point. Of course, it may look similar to an F8 as seen in an SLR.
Any tricks for what appears to be a relatively large depth of field
or just using F8?
