Just bought this program a week ago $49.00. I got it specifically for burning photo slide shows to video cd's.

In a nutshell it doesnt work. If you check out the support site at Adobe.com there are a number of message threads about this issue, as well as poor quality of images when VCD's actually do work.

My advice, stick with the bundled software that came with your camera, as the adobe product will do little more than what you already have.

Wait for version 2.

Just one mans opinion.

I have to agree about the video slide show portion of Album, but for me, it wasn't that big of a deal. I actually picked up a free copy of Album from PMA 2003 in Vegas. After playing with it for a few weeks, I found that it works great as an image management tool. It offers a lot of features that I can't find anwhere else. One thing that I wish it did have was the ability to zoom in and out of images. It may be there, but I don't see it.

Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10. Version 2 will be nice to have. Know when it will be available??

Unless I missed something, it is impossible to delete the Adobe predefined categories. Personally, I would like to delete them and add my own. Other than that it seems like a pretty good program, although, maybe a little too amateurish in it's approach. Hopefully, version two will get it right.

As for making VCD albums - try FlipAlbum.

A friend has the program and I have a VCD from him that seems to work just fine. Also, I use JASC's Photo Album which also works just fine. Exactly what are you referring to when you say it doesn't work?
