I know seveal in thsi forum have good sucesss with there. Why can I find them?

Thanks,
Joe

I used to shoot landscapes and florals. The judges always gave me Zero's. I switched to people and I still get Zero's but they have a comma now and numbers in front of them.

Hi Joe. I don't know about the Panasonic, but everything I have
ever owned from Panasonic has been good quality. I am using the
PowerX 2000 cells from Thomas Distributing.

One of the main reasons I use those it because in the great battery
shootout they came out on top of the heap. I like them a lot.
Here iis the link for the shootout. Take it easy Joe. Ken
I recommend the PowerX and charger as well.

Thanks for the link. Where is that battery shoot out? How many shots from the S2 are you getting?

Thanks,
Joe

after years of using Sanyo 1600 and Olympus 1400 in my flash, I have gone the Maha route

just got them from Thomas & they bundle some handy extra battery holders with them
the charger is excellent, though limited for use with NiMH only

can't comment on battery life yet as they aren't broken in yet, but Maha seems to be a seriously excellent company from my research
btw, Ken's post in this thread has the link to the shoot out

Joe, the great battery shootout was done by Imaging Resouce in Feb.

I snapped 303 pictures in the Atlanta Zoo over a five hour period. Normally I set the camera to shut down after two minutes instead of 15 seconds because I find it irritating to try to take a shot and the camera is asleep. The batteries certainly go faster because of that. I also use a microdrive and it drains batteries as well. The batteries were still fine when the shooting was finished.

The link to the shootout is below. I usually start with a new set of batteries right out of the charger. Using the Moha Charger the batteries stay on trickle charge, ready to go. Hope this helps. Ken

I see that it's the way to go. PowerEX2000 Mah but what charger? The 401FS?

The Maha batteries from http://www.thomasdistributing.com are awesome!

Anyone else out there with Ansmann 2000 mAh jobbies..?

I've consistently had over 700 photos to a set so far...

Anyone else with any experience ?
