hi!

fine, warm spring-weather...so the sports-teacher
and I used it to make some running-style analysis of the
sportsschool pupils...

E-100rs, 15fps, HQ, so 28 pictures in one series, took one full
step out - resized and printet on 13´x 19´ with canon S9000,
framed in a 40x50cm and now hanging in our school...

:)

she has no style! LOL..... she is a beagle that thinks she is on this earth to sniff out deer and drag me in pursuit of them! The camera work will require help from hubby since I can't be pulled by the dog and film her at the same time!

By the way.....if you have sufficiently impressed the school enough that they want an Ezi of their own, I know of one for sale!

hi Julie E!

according to:

I had two (2!) Ezis on my own...and sold one via Ebay just a few weeks
ago - cause no one really wanted it in my personal surroundings...

Really cool Michael. One of these days I'm going to learn to do that.

Boy did I have fun with my EZI for three days at the TPC at Sawgrass this week. I took over 4000 shots, mostly sequentials.

Now, when I have time (who knows when) I want to take the sequentials I took of golfer's swings and make them into a single picture like you do.

Oh well, until then here is a shot of the 2nd round leader Padraig Harrington

These are interesting presentations. It was not immediately clear what I was looking at in terms of time and space. Some of the confusion may come from the fact that you took out one full step? Apparently these are time sequences of runners where time flows from left to right, i.e. the picture on the left side is the first of the series in time. The eye (at least my eye) wants to see it the other way (picture on the right being the first in time), because it makes more sense spatially. Have you considered taking similar sequences (at 5 or 10 fps), then stitching them together? That type of presentation would make more sense to me visually. Not sure if it would be analytically useful. I also enjoy using the E100 to take sports sequences such as the one below -

hi Mike!

I do know your work, especially remembering this tennis-picture...
some months ago...and I may say I would love to have your
photoshop skills...

:-)

yup...I had 28 pictures...and took that one step out, where the
runners were almost straight, meaning in 90 degree to me...to get
a good angle of view...

from left to right, i.e. the picture on the left side is the first

the runners made their run as presented...from my left to my right...
shots presented in picture are out of the middle part of the sequence...
