At first I shot JPEG because I was naive and wanted quantity over quality.
Then I shot RAW, because I was still naive but wanted quality over
quantity. Now I've gone back to JPEG because I'm no longer naive, and I
want both quantity and quality.

I really like the first pic. How much of a crop is this pic? Was this one with your 80-400? Great bokeh.

Hi Mahesh,

It's great to see these again. I really love that heron shot at the bottom. Too cool! Your pictures, as well as those from some of the others on the forum have almost got me talked into choosing the S2 again. I don't like the body, but it's really hard to argue against the quality of the images. I was waiting for PMA and since Nikon didn't come up with anything new, I am getting anxious to start shooting digital again.

Great shots as always, glad you're back from vacation.

I heard you returned your 1Ds! That was a surprise.

Thanks, man! Ya the 1st one was with the 80-400. Virtually no crop at all just a bit of rotation adjustment and tiny cropping to get rid of the white boarders after rotation.

Thanks, Babe. That is one of my favorite of all time. It was taken at Deception Pass, in northern Washington. I used the 80-400VR at 400mm to get this shot.
 
Just kidding! :-) It's Friday and my camera is waiting for me at home and it's March Madness...I'm feeling fiesty this afternoon. :-)

I've told you this about these three before...They are all great for different reasons. You do really well with the panning on that 80-400!

You are fiesty today! :-) So who are you rootin' for? It's almost 2 here and I don't leave for the airport for another 4 hrs or so. Man I had a great time in Vegas. I'll tell you all about it over dinner tomorrow night.

They won yesterday, but I have Arizona vs. Syracuse in the final game with Arizona winning it all. We'll see. Kentucky is looking awefully good.
