I wouldn't quite go that far, but I will say I was quite disastisfied with the "service". Getting any kind of reliable status from them is impossible. I submitted my rating of them on http://www.resellerratings.com/ to reflect my displeasure in the lack of customer service. It turns out a local retailer got my 10D in on Friday so I just picked it up locally.On your 10D order?
Oh yeah.
This morning it was scheduled for delivery 3/18, and after noon, it
was "Cancelled at your request", for no reason they can figure out.
Some rep named "Steve", who is not working today, cancelled my
order this morning for a reason only he knows.
Nobody at Dell can UN-cancel the order, so they suggested I get
back in at the very end of the line, with absolutely no ETA on the
next shipment.
So, yeah, I feel pretty f%$ked.
Anyone else have their order cancelled out from under them, or is
it just me?
NOPE! I'm proud to say that I didn't fall for Dell's deal, and
other than a wasted 2 minute phone call, Dell didn't get their
grubby hands on me. Now, Gateway, on the other hand . . .
