I have found that a certain kind of person/political affiliation doesnt like the truth. Yes in every state where guns are allowed to be carried on your person the crime rate has gone down. Not by a smal amount either. In some stated where ccw was inacted the crime rate went down 28-almost 40%
I realize this is hard to fathom for you. If I had the media telling me guns are bad guns are dangerous every 5 seconds I wouldnt believe it either.
You can choose any other object in the house or garage and according to statistics it kills more people than guns. When the media talks about kids that die from guns they are lumping in gang members under 21. That accounts for about 92% of the "kids" statistics.
I think they should ban alcohol it kills 60,000 people per year in car accidents alone. My father was killed by a drunk driver. If you then take all the medical related deaths from alcohol it would run into the millions.
If you then take all the crime perpetrated while people are drunk it would run into the hundreds of million more likely billions.
If you really care about something jump on the anti-alcohol bandwagon.
Oh by the way did the media tell you more kids drown in pools or for that matter more kids down in 5 gallon buckets then are shot by guns.
I have been shooting (targets) since I was 7 yo. I have never "killed" anyone. Guns in the hands of law abiding citizens keeps this society safe. Dont belive me look at any country where guns are banned.
Look at Australia or England and the signifcant rise in all areas of crime as soo as they banned guns. Austrailas crime rate went up somewhere in the range or 30%. Thats 30% more ****, murder, home invasion etc.
Law abiding citizens are by nature law abiding. Criminals are by nature law breakers. Therefore if you disarm one the other will thrive.
The victims will be the law abiders.
I could talk for hours but I need to go car jack someone with my evil black rifle.

I went to a gun show this weekend (USA midwest) and decided to take
along my new 10D to do some shots of two models that were supposed
to be working a booth there. The crowd was moderate and many had
guns with them to sell or trade. I bought my ticket and then they
wouldn't let me in because I had a camera! WOW! When did cameras
become more dangerous than a redneck with an assualt rifle? Our
society is seriously psychotic. 100,000 square feet of guns with
half of them being military and I had the most dangerous weapon.
What is next a special "carry permit" for a pocket camera? I
carried a camera everywhere in Vietnam in 1969 and no one thought
that pictures were a security risk.
