Good Jaguar software

Hi

I run OSX, 10.2.4 and I'm just about to get a Canon 10D and take the plunge into RAW files
What software do I need?

I have my eyes on MacBibble and Genuine Fractals. Would that be a good choice? Do I need any other sw?

When I got my first digital camera (Nikon CoolPix 880) I started to shoot JPG's (1024*768) and now I realize that was not too smart... would I be able to resize a 1024*768 to, lets say 4500*3400 with GF? What would that do to printing quality??

How about Photo Shop 7.0.1 and the Adobe plugin for RAW?

MacBibble doesn't support Canon RAW files at all.

And even if it did, it just isn't very good - Adobe Camera RAW is much better.

But I'm not sure if it supports the 10D files yet, since that camera hadn't even been announced when Adobe's sw came out.

Bad news about MacBibble but good to know :-/

So, 2 votes for Adobe's plugin and 1 against Bibble. Ok, it gives me something to think about because I thought Bibble supported Canon... strange, why don't they??

He says he ran out of time.

He will probably support Canon eventually, but why wait for it when Adobe's SW is out now and so much better?

It doesn't support the 10D yet, although there is a hack you can find in the Canon slr forum
