Please, whoever is in charge of this forum, remove all of the
pointless and uninformative threads being created every other
minute regarding the 10D.
Manny, it's you and others who are clogging the forum with these
posts complaining about people expressing their excitement about
Canon's newest camera.
If you think it's bad now, wait until people start getting their
cameras and some of the initial rants start happening... stuff like
hot pixels and testing for them, complaints that pictures are soft
or noisy, people who can't figure out how to use the camera and
those who find it their job to ridicule them, lens comparisons and
religious arguments for the 28-135IS, wish lists for future models,
those who say the D60 is still better and that you'll have to pry
it from their "cold dead hands," etc... not to mention more of
these negative and pointless posts from people like you requesting,
"Please, Phil, can there be a 10D forum so we can talk about
photography again?"
In short, give it a rest! I, for one, actually enjoy reading the
posts from the excited early-adopters. I read the endless soap
operas about Ritzcameras.com and the computer-generated ship date
estimates... it's fun. Much more interesting than the equipment
bigot posts or the mean spirited bashing of newbies that seems to
be always vogue in here.
Some of us like reading the posts about the 10D... all of them. If
you don't like it, I suggest you find another forum that isn't all
giddy about it if you can. My advice is to learn a little
self-control about which posts you read or to learn something of
the fine-art of tolerance.
