You gotta love these So. Cal. Sunsets. I took these at the end of a nice warm clear day and plus I wanted to test out my new flash (Quantaray 7500a). Im very happy with it so far.

The flashed worked great on the girl. I love your pix with the seagull, did you also use it on the seagull?

Here's my So. Cal contribution, I hope its not too big for ppl on modem, but the Sunset loses too much effect when opened small.

Gorgeous pictures Potops! I can't compete with those, but I will add some Florida Gulf Coast sunset pics to the mix :-)

Thanks for the kind words.

The colors in your pictures are great and to answer your question yes I also used the flash on the seagull. It sure is better than the Sony flash I had.

Here's my SoCal sunset contribution. It was taken in Manhatten Beach. I call it sunset over Frys. The little white sign in the lower right corner is from the local Fry's store.

Very nice Potops. I never think to flip my flash for sunset photos. It adds a great dimension.

Don't have any from So Cal, but I have some from Minnesota...

Nice one Loren. Like the Falmouth one a lot. We need to visit again now that I have a decent camera and not a $35 35mm Kodak like I did in 1996.
