Does anyone have these that can send them to me? I believe that they were once a free download from his site, but recently have been taken down. I understand that he had 3 paper types. I found the Ian Lyons' profiles.

If there was a chance, please excuse my ignorance I wouldn't want to compromise anyone.

Hers are copyrighted, so he can't share them. There's a few free ones on her website. The equipment to make them cost $4000 (more than I'll ever have!), so you should buy some if you like them.

The product used to build the profiles did NOT allow free distribution so the copyright was violated. That is why I suspect the profiles were pulled. Distribution of the profiles will violate the copyright of the software product used to build the profile.

Not all profile creation software has this restriction.

Andrew, do you know off the top of your head which ones allow and which ones do not allow. If you are not charging that might make a difference? Not that I intend to share my profiles on the internet but I use Gretags Eye-One. Thanks. Joe.

You're fine with GretagMacbeth. George used Monaco which doesn't allow the freedom to sell or give away profiles like GretagMacbeth although Monaco is going to work on changing this in the future. To what degree isn't known yet.

Damn, that sucks. Why spend all that money (Monoco's software is very costly, at least according to Lepp's site that claimed $7000 in hardware and software) when you can't sell them? It's pro priced, but you're not allowed to be a pro!
