I have the greatest confidence in Kodak and their exciting new camera (and I think they will do ENORMOUSLY well with this technological wonder). I have paid a very substantial deposit on the 14n (which puts me very high on my Kodak Distributors list). The Kodak Pro DCS 14n is a retirement gift to myself for many years of very hard work, but I do not have money to burn. I am an amateur, meantime I can "muddle along" with my much loved Nikon D1H. I have confidence in the depth and scope of your reviews and have therefore decided to wait until you review the 14n before finally buying the 14n. Question (that MANY people are asking): WHEN do you expect to review the Pro 14n ???

Perfectly Phrased
Ditto the question???
The Canon was announced and the review hit the same day...

Phil has a unit but he's on his way to PMA and he needs to sleep and eat sometime so he's working on it
Digital Capture Technical development manager ( sorry its a
job title thing) and kelbley's euro twin

I think you mean Phil's preview, not review of the Canon. Again a pre production model. I'd suspect Phil does not have a production model and wont until sometime next week. He takes several weeks to build a review

Ah, the sleep thing is way over rated and eating is bad for you. Cameras on the other hand..................

If not a review than at least a preview :-)

NDA

all reviewers work under a non-disclosure agreement. Even if the review was ready he would not be able to tell use about it. So there is no need to wonder about it.

I am waiting for it too, be patient :-)

Muddle along! Common, you have a top notch camera there. A lot of people would give their right arm to have that camera.

I am eager to see the results of the 14n. Not so much because I can't live without it (I am very happy with my D1X and have not found anything it can't do for me yet) but mostly because I am curious to see how successful Kodak have been in fixing the problems first seen in the released images.

Doesn't anyone find it surprising that Kodak have not released any official production images?

Haven't we all learned by now that asking Phil for ETAs on his reviews is about as futile as shooting a dead horse :-)

If Canon chooses to supply a pre-production model to Phil, and Kodak doesn't, who's fault is that?
