Just got my G3 last week, and I'm having a blast, but I have one question. I do photo work on my computer (faster processor and 21" monitor), but I like to store images on my wife's computer (she has more space on her hard drive). I have the image library mapped to a drive letter on my computer, but Zoombrowser doesn't seem to recognize it. Does it just not support mapped network drives, or is there a setting somewhere that I haven't found yet? Any help would be appreciated.

Is the lack of replies because it can't be done, or because nobody knows? :o)

I say downgrade only based on what I read at the ZB 4.0.2 download web page. Seems that Canon has opted to remove some useful features compared to those in 3.2.1 (which I currently have). Namely: panorama, create and view the "stitched" photos; and RAW conversion. Only two of the several things changed.

So the only really good reason to use 4.0 would be for its difference in how the file database is handled (for better speed)? I've downloaded it but I hesitate to install that if I must uninstall my old version first. Of course I can always reinstall 3.2.1 again... except does it even make any sense to go through with this since I already use BreezeBrowser mostly now. Those panorama and RAW conversion features of the older ZoomBrowser still seems very useful, even though I know they could be done from outside of ZB 4.

I'm really perplexed over this apparent downgrade , as I'm sure many people might be. So can anyone prove it is an upgrade instead? TIA if so.
