snapshot in Frankfurt which may lead to think.
focal length 190mm (equiv.) F 2.4, 1/500s, ISO 100

It shows one of the strengths of the F717 – getting high quality candid shot in the street photography

If you can take a bit of constructive critisism, I'd convert it to B/W, and crop it a bit. The content's great, buty I think it loses it a bit on the right hand side.

Many thanks Philip!

of cause I'm open to any critics. I think a sepia version could also work.

BTW, I found the colors in Marlbolo poster so nice:-)

The colors in the poster ARE nice and I think that the photo is propably better in color, but the cropping might work (allthough you'll lose one of the guys in the poster that way and the "setup" loses some information).

Philip,

I love your crop- very subtle to move cowboy over; but so important- he's now hovering over them like the Grim Reaper, supervising their subscription to his blackly paved way of life....

Cigarette adverts went out with a wheeze here in the UK on 13th February when they were banned totally (magazines, billboards and internet included).

However, there was one brand that went out with a song- Silk Cut..

They had a full page spread in every newspaper of an extremely portly chanteuse wailing her heart out, clad in a tight fitting silk purple gown that was literally splitting at the seams. Excellent! Wish I could find a URL, but I doubt it..

Yes, I saw that on the news. I didn't actually see the press ads, though.

PS, glad you liked the edit. I felt bad about it afterwards. I wasn't sure it was the done thing (though I have seen it done before on other posts), so forgive me, all, if it was out of line.

Evocative... That picture has a story( the truth behind the lie
that is tobacco marketing) to tell. Great work.
