That's good news. Although I never spoke to him, or even entered into a thread with him, I was concerned. I've had extensive experience with some loved ones that shared one of Ergo's demons of the past, and I was concerned that maybe he had returned to one of those places. Of course, that's none of my business, but I was worried nonetheless.

When you next speak to him, please tell him that there are some folks over here that he doesn't even know that are genuinely concerned for him.

Cheers,
OlyBob

Beacon,
Thank you for the concern...

Ergo is still well and living life sober one day at a time...as a matter of fact he will be celebrating 9 months of sobriety soon...

Besides photography, Ergo and I share the bond of recovering alcoholics...

I was happy to have met him here and to be able to introduce him to a program of recovery that continues to work for both of us...

Life is good today...

Or do you prefer OlyGirl?.....just kidding... ;> )

I don't use OlyBob all the time..just when I'm in a mood...kind of like my alter ego or a pen name...(yea right!)

Someone named ERGO posted "I miss OlyBoy" so I thought someone named OlyBob should post "I miss Ergo"...similar idea but I was serious although I wanted to have fun with the post...

This long cold winter has me bored and half crazy...not a lot of snow at all but bitter cold...when it gets in the 20's people say it's a heat wave....

We are glad to see you here today. Yeah, I miss him, too. He sort of walked the plank on his own.

If you talk to him mention that the guy from his grandfather's Home Town (Sartell, MN) misses him well and hopes he keeps counting. Besides its only 15 below now and Minnesota is missing his warm humor.

I communicate with Ergo via e-mail almost every day,he has a tremendous desire to get better at photography and has asked me for critiques of his works and that's what I do,hard hitting brutal critiques and he appreciates it. What a kind and giving person he couldn't be nicer to me and the pay is quite good :-)
