everytime I install photoshop 7 in my pc with acdsee 4.01 or even acdsee 5.0 my pc slows down any idea of this problem?

Granted it is a is a fast viewer but I agree with Jack. I had so
many problems with the program conflicting with other applications
I finally uninstalled it for good.

Their support is CR@P too. They never respond with problems and continually SPAM me even though I've unsubscribed several times. Their program is so buggy that if you use it to view images on a compact flash card and then remove the card, it cannot recover from the error and you have to use task manager to kill the program. What kind of program does not put code in to handle a removable drive in today's world? Photoshop, BreezeBrowser, QImage, Painter, PSP and every other program can handle that situation...I've used various versions of ACDsee, now using 5.0 and never had
any problems. I think it's a great viewer and wouldn't hesitate to
reccomend it

It seems that when ACDSee opens a file it "takes charge" of the
EXIF data and from then on the only program that can see the data
is ACDsee.

Yeh, been there! I tried the 5 trial , worst thing I ever did. I thought it was just me but it was so slow, tries to take over the computer. Back using Irfan, and much happier.Jumping on the knock ACDSee bandwagon:
