Have not seen any link to a manual; however, B & H is listing them on their site and I just took the plunge and ordered one. I had recently purchased the Minolta 3600HS, but prior to using it decided I wanted a few more features. I did look over the listing carefully and it was the correct model (EF 500 DG Super, for the Minolta). I had heard Adorama had some a week ago, but they are out of stock now.
Best thing about this was the price, just under $180. You do have to buy 4 AA batteries for $0.69 each, but its worth it. I certainly will return it if it is not as advertised.

Buy NiMiH batteries instead of disposables. You can swap them into your 7i as well.Best thing about this was the price, just under $180. You do have
to buy 4 AA batteries for $0.69 each, but its worth it. I
certainly will return it if it is not as advertised.

I already have NiMHs for it (I have a total of 3 sets: Sanyo 1850, Powerex 1800 & 2000). It is just that B & H "required" the purchase of the 4 disposables to buy the flash. I will just keep them in a battery case and have them on hand in case my 7i or the flash needs emergency power.

Last Friday they did not have it in stock and did not know when they will.
Now they do and I just ordered it with Olympus A-200.
Interestingly enough that is the only Sigma DG flash they have in stock now even though all other Sigmas DG have been out for a while.

While I found that interesting too, I realize that companies run out of items all the time. I imagine that they will quickly be out of the Minolta version, once word gets around. I was tempted to go for quicker shipping than standard, but my previous purchases from them have been shipped quickly.

Maybe I'm just being a bit of an old fuss-pot but is it the case perhaps that in US this Sigma is a BIG BIG difference in cost to the Minolta. I got a 5600 at a good discounted price, it IS a genuine Minolta matched product, and looking at the Sigma pic on one site I get the impression the Minolta is a better build gun. Amazon UK have it priced as not a VAST amount less than I paid for my 5600 ..AND they don't promise delivery anyway for about 2 weeks...so just what IS the big attraction ???

Adorama has started shipping Super DG for Minolta. My order is scheduled for delivery Feb 10 per UPS tracking.
By the way the B&H price you mention is quite good if true. They are not usually the price leaders, especially for a new item in tight supply. $180 is the market price for Sigma’s older Super flash.

Received confirmation from B&H on shipping. It does list it as 500 DG Super. So it would make it an exceptional price (they may have priced it the same as the non-DG version, and will be correcting that soon).

The big attraction is that it is only $179.
I have experience with Sigma guns and they are on the par with
OEM and sometimes better for a lot less money. Just look at availability of Sigma DG for other cameras. They have been available since December but you can't find one very easy. People been buying them like crazy.
I will get mine on Friday or Monday the latest and I will let everyone know my experience with this gun.
