Don't try this at home!

LOL! :-) Great shot! It's nice to see someone enjoying the weather...I'm stuck indoors with this crummy weather we're having in Seattle.

At first I shot JPEG because I was naive and wanted quantity over quality.
Then I shot RAW, because I was still naive but wanted quality over
quantity. Now I've gone back to JPEG because I'm no longer naive, and I
want both quantity and quality.

Definitely for the shot....waiting for the fairway to clear....while my friend with the driver is a single digit handicap that's a very scary thing to try for real!

I was thinking the same thing after seeing Mahesh's reply :) I must say, a co-worker has the 1Ds, if my wife didn't already give so much $#it for this hobby as is I would rush and get one after playing wth my friends..awesome hunk of metal, rubber, plastic and a sensor!

Hehe...I like to give Mahesh some cr@p every once in a while. Ya...The 1Ds is quite a machine. I got the chance to play a little with Mahesh's and really like it. It is quite a beast though. :-)

Take care,

I hope you didn't take a shot during the back swing as well! ;)

I was looking over your other galleries as well. There are some nice shots there. How did you get such clear pictures from the plane? Every plane I have been on has had horrible windows in it. Scratched and foggy, and the pictures show it well.

Also, what lens were you using for the 4 photos iin your S2 Pro gallery? They are nice and sharp! (Something I am still hoping to get).

Hi Chris,

Actually I should have had him emulate a swing, would have been a more interesting shot to have him at full coil in the backswing.

Those plane shots were on a trip from Seattle to San Jose and I shot those with a Nikon 5700....did a lot of clean-up on them via Photoshop but they look good mostly because of how clear the day was and the fact that the plan was a very new 757 so the windows had not yet been too scratched up and yellowed from UV exposure.

I believe the lenses for that S2 gallery would be one of two lenses, both Nikon, 18-35 or 24-85AFS.

Thanks....Steve

Nice to see a sence of humor shot. The color and focus and DOF are very good, nice shot. BTW how's your caddies nose??

I think you'll like this joke!

The confused golfer.

A man, while playing on the front nine of a complicated golf course,
became confused as to where he was on the course.

Looking around, he saw a lady playing ahead of him.
He walked up to her, explained his confusion and asked her if she
knew what hole he was playing. She replied, "I'm on the 7th hole,
and you are a hole behind me, so you must be on the 6th hole."

He thanked her and went back to his golf. On the back nine the same thing
happened again and he approached her again with the same request.

She said, "I'm on the 14th hole, you are a hole behind me, so you must be
on the 13th hole." Once again he thanked her and returned to his play.

He finished his round and went to the clubhouse where he saw the same
lady sitting at the end of the bar. He asked the bartender if he knew the
lady.

The bartender said that she was a sales lady and played the course
often.

He approached her and said, "Let me buy you a drink in appreciation
for your help. I understand that you are in the sales profession. I'm in
sales, also. What do you sell?"

She replied, "If I tell you, you'll laugh." "No, I won't."

"Well, if you must know," she answered, "I work for Tampax."

With that, he laughed so hard he almost lost his breath. She said,
"See I knew you would laugh."

"That's not what I'm laughing at," he replied. "I'm a salesman for
Preparation H, so I'm still a hole behind you!"

Time & Images wait for no man as all to soon their gone!

Hi,

nice idea, that'll sure go for a hole in (at least) one tooth.

Over here in Luxembourg, cant think at golfing yet, we'll have to wait for at least one month.

In the wintertime, when there is enough snow, we have people doing Cross Country Skying on the course...
