new Canon 1Ds zoo photos

Hello Holger,

some very good ones again. The pig is really cute and the wolf doesn't seem to be enjoying the snow. And I'm absolutely jalous about that first one. I went out shooting this morning and was rather happy with some of the shots, including this one:

Doesn't match up with your close-to-perfection pic at all. And I'm not claiming to be as good as you, but of course, I only have a Casio QV4000 and a soligor 2x telelens, which means 204mm focal length. Wouldn't you want to change cams for a while? :-)

with regards,

Hi Holger, Wonderful job as always. I see you are also dealing with those tricky white backgrounds. The edges of the duck blend into the snow and create an unusual look. The wolf or coyote with the green background is a great photo.

Hi Greg,

thank you for your very nice comments. To be honest: This is my best shot of this duck, i've also had many not-so-good photos of them.

Hi Holger

Looks like you have been having fun again. Love the photographs you have made of these animals as always. Thanks for posting them so we can see them.

BTW. Dont worry about not having the boxes to ship your camera and lenses to us who would like to make such pictures!

I can send you boxes plenty but you would have to come to UK too so you can show me how to use it :-)

Hi Morris, thanks for your message. That white background was not planned but very welcome. At first i thought i had overexposed it with +2/3 EV, but that was just right.
