constructive criticisms will be greatly appreciated.

Be gentle with me though, I'm a newbie. :-)

Excellent shot, ARB1!
Great light, good color, it's ALIVE!!!

And I like you're timing of the shutter, with the repeating angles from the man's back and the trailing lamp post, to the black & white projectile echoing the angle of the power lines.

Can you tell me what that exploding object is on the right?
Thanks.

if the black and white object may have been done on top of the original mural some time afterwards. I thought it was interesting because it looks like one of the projectiles is headed right at the guy walking past.

I'm going to take some more photos in that area so I'll check it out more closely to determine what it actually is.

Thanks for your comments, but considering I'm a begin again newbie I think I just got lucky.

Hi ARB.

Don't be too modest. It looks to me like you have a good eye for capturing a scene. I really like this shot. The only thing I'd change is to include a little more at the bottom of the picture but of course that's purely subjective. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Regards, Maxven

P.S.: If you didn't understand everything Mark and Zoomer were talking about don't worry, I didn't either. ;-)

This is the type of shot that keeps one looking and looking! Very nicely done. I was going to comment about the feet cut off, but I think it adds tension to the shot. Keep em comin'
