I did notice, and I'm big on straightening my images. But I decided only the silo was leaning. I hope I was right!

Thanks very much for your comment.

Good set, Robiro.. I can see all patience and passion involved in this process in your role of "farmer" and photographer ;) .. the set certainly deserves an individual posting on Talk forum ;) .. the salad looks delicious, thanks for posting :D ..
Bruno, DutchMate is right. I deviated a little bit too far. Can't delete that post now.

So, everbody, enjoy tomatoes in a landscape thread.... :D

Great image, John.. lovely light of (setting?) sun - seen a picture taken of this lighthouse in wintertime with snow contrasting the red painted construction.. also impressive ;) .. fine work, thanks for sharing :D ..

I love this, almost look like you painted it. Old farms are so nice to look at.

Thaks all,

The occasion was NZ Olympic Shot Putter Valerie Adams being given her Gold Medal. She got a silver in London but the winner from Belorussia was later disqualified for drugs. I think all teh NZ gold medal winners where there so we had a small celebration.

Its the first time I have seriously tried to shoot fireworks. In the end it was pretty easy I just put my camera in Fireworks mode which set 100 ISO, 4 secs, f71. and focus to infinity and then just fired away with a remote (on a tripod of course). Couldn't have been easier.

Fine image, Darrell.. lovely composition, really like nearly monochromatic tonality - according to color the ruins are probably constructed out of bricks.. well spotted and pictured, thanks for sharing :D ..

The sunset shots are very beautiful. A little PP to bring up the shadows would enhance them further. Really like your shot of the butterfly too. Thanks for sharing.
