Let's See Your Dogs

You are a wonderful person for takin' her in and giving her a good home.
Yes, I am a Get Smart fan. Actually, I found 99 on 1/1/99 in a
parking lot behind 7/11. She was abandoned and about 8 weeks lod.
I figured since it was the first day of '99 that is what I would
name her, as I'd always liked the show :)

or I sould say.....WAS........our son's dog. He asked us to babysit her almost 5 years ago! Your dad probably was smart with the name thing - makes it so much easier to remember.........lol! We had another beagle that died over 20 yrs ago and my husband still calls this one by her name!
Julie E, BJ is sooooo Cute!! While growing up, my dad always had
Beagles... of course they all shared the same name... we had Duke
1, Duke 2, Duke 3.... you get the drift.... if it was now a days it
would probably be Duke Nukem.... Lol...

goin' on 11 years old... but I tell ya, those thyroid pills make
her act like 2!!! grin
BTW Lukas is one fine GIANT Schnauzer. Just thought I'd let ya
know. (o: I used to have a Shepherd/Husky mix that I used to love
takin' to the gas station with me....(back when they "used to fill
your tank for ya".... ) Had a good chuckle when they washed the
windows!!! Kalib was ALL over that window... too bad they didn't do
the insides!! LOL

Regards,
MaryB
Just took these today while running errands (he likes to guard his
car) . . . .not great shots of Lukas . . . but I like them.

It made me curious to see pictures of your dogs.

I love these dog threads!

Here's our girl Faith - she's a tri-colored Border Collie now about 4 years old. We got her from a working sheep farm in Sharon Springs, NY that had 5 adult BCs & 200 sheep:

and:

They are a high maintenance breed, but so smart that you are amazed every week.

Many more of her at:

Here's our little Maggie all dressed up for the holidays and being held by my granddaughter, Amanda. Don't think Maggie was too happy at this particular moment. Maggie is 11 years old and weighs almost 4 pounds - mostly hair.

She wonders when we are going to get rid of the bird that keeps calling her and telling her to go lay down. She is about 12 years old and she travels really well and has traveled with us all over the states and canada. We drove to alaska with her and a small young parrot and the parrot would get upset when we would leave him in the car when we stopped at a rest and took the dog out - so I started bringing the bird out at rest stops and would give him the command to poop and he would so the next thing you know the dog is pooping on command !!!
Now doesnt that just make your day !!!!
