With my S45 came Arcsoft Camera Suite 2.0, part of that is Arcsoft Photo Studio 5.0. To resize I open a .jpg in Photo Studio, click on "edit", then "image size" and fill in what size I want the image to be. Takes about 15 seconds total. I don't know if your Arcsoft Camera Suite 1.2 package comes with Photo Studio, but I though i would share.

This is a FREE download. It is a very nice viewer program that I use to reduce images to e mail to business clients who need to see a picture before it goes to press.
