It seems like 90% of the pics on here are black and white. Do you guys not like the colors it puts out, or are there just lots of street shooters copying the Leica forum.:-)

I don't think that this forum represents the bulk of the Q shooters out there. A few frequent posters do seem to shoot mainly in B&W, a personal choice.

I, for one, have never shot my Q in B&W, and likely never will. I see the world in color and that's how I choose to capture it. YMMV, of course...

I don't. I may post monochrome sometimes, but only because it reminds me of my film days, not because of a brand of camera. (Pentax user sense the late 70's.) Besides, I believe Kodak was the first to make a monochrome DSLR. Does that mean Leica users have Kodak envy? :-)

I have posted a whole lot of color shots with the Q lately... Have you been missing them? ;-). I even posted a new color workflow snap test

I haven't posted any images here from the Q yet, but indeed I often have the Q set to B&W. I do always shoot RAW, so that I can recover the colours during post processing if I want to. To me it's not that I don't like the Q's colours, it's just that I like B&W photography for certain subjects, and as it happens the Q is relatively more suited for those subjects (=street photography indeed).

Also B&W suits the Q's retro-style. I hope to collect an old school viewfinder (a Leitz Wetzlar 5cm finder that fits onto the hot shoe) for my Q from the post office tomorrow, so that should add to the retro-experience (and save the battery).
