My first challenge win!

Great shot! It has a quality that makes it look almost computer generated for a movie (prior to blowing it up! :) ). I see that you have quite a few lenses that you could use for the 24mm shot. Which lens did you use?
Thanks for the kind words.

At the time, I only had the 16-80CZ and my Sigma 24 1.8 for that focal length. This shot is with the Sigma. I've been very pleased with that lens for these types of shots. I find I get good sharpness from it. When, I get time, I plan to see how it does against my 24-70 and 16-35 to see if I should keep it. I haven't used it in a while.

Here is another shot with the same lens...on the same trip. I think you see what I mean by good sharpness when stopped down.

cool looking shot. I wonder though, how did you get the lady at bottom right to stand still for 15 secs? she is rather clear for such a long exposure, and the man next to her seems to be missing his head. Love the lighting though.
There is a trash can to her immediate left, and a man to the left of her. He was taking a picture with his camera on a tripod. It sort of got cropped out at the bottom of the frame. I was waiting for about 20 minutes to see if they'd move, but they didn't. So, I just left them in. I don't think they are too distracting. In some of the other shots, they were moving and more ghost like. I guess I timed my exposure with his for this one.

that's a really great photo, really really,,,,,,,,
That is very kind of you to say. It's one my wife even likes (thus being allowed to hang it over the couch). It was a cold night, so she wasn't as thrilled that I was taking so long and keeping her from getting to sleep.

Congratulations. The picture is awesome and the correction of the distortion worked really well.
