I frequently bump one or more buttons (important ones, such as white balance, ISO, et) with my nose. Does anyone know of a way to lock in settings, or of any "after-market nose guard" (really, a "button guard" I guess)? Also, I have minimal success asking questions through Fujifilm.com, and ProNet does not have email contacts (?). thanx

Solutions:

Press the Func button until you get the Color row - the lock button is the right hand one.
Use the left eye (like me)

Thanx, Doug -- I guess I need(ed) to reread the instruction book. I DO use my left eye; I guess my nose is too l-o-n-g

But my left eye is my bad eye. Don't the make an eyepiece extension of some sort?

It's quite a pain to have to lock and unlock everytime you want to change a setting. At least with the thumb pad it's a quick lock and unlock.

no lock button on S1 ...this is a real advantage of the S2

I like the lockable menu dial as well, though I must train myself to use it more often
