I see the latest Canon has a new feature where you can initiate exposure compensation by turning on the backlit display, why hasn't Nikon got this feature.

Yeah but Nikon has a new feature where you can do focus bracketing by changing the focus point, Canon doesn't have that feature, so it's a tie.

Five out of the top ten cameras rated by DxO are Nikons. With one exception, the rest are MF. Canon doesn't have a single camera in the top ten.

How does this work, and why is it superior to pressing the + - button and turning the command dial? On the D800 can see the results in either LCD.

nice headline for a post

I don't see Canon with a 36mp sensor
I don't see the 1100D with a 24mp sensor
I don't see an affordable FF coming out from Canon
I don't see a compact interchangeable lens system yet from Canon

I don't see the point of the subject of this post

People here will defend the virtue of Nikon without thinking

Yeah, quite right, and more...Canon blurs out detail at high iso to make it look nice and smooth - why doesn't Nikon blur out details - definitely falling behind!!!!!

It was just a bit of sarcasm aimed at the light leak issue that Canon has, seems like a lot of people post without thinking, or have no sense of humour

LCD light leak? I know nothing about that. I don't use Canons and don't read the Canon forum.

It's a bitter pill to see how Canon has no one outstanding ... but having 5 Nikon cameras in the top ten & Niconians asking ourselves if we are falling behind? take care Sir, it ¡s an overdose of despair for Canonians.

Or, are not into the Nikon vs. Canon rivalry enough to know about Canon problems. That's why I asked how the feature worked. To find your post funny requires having paid attention to Canon stuff. Some of us don't.

Is Nikon falling behind?
Yes, Nikon is falling behind.

They cannot keep up with the incredible demand for their cameras, I hope they can fill all the orders they have to get them into the hands of people that want excellent cameras.

No Canon and 5 Nikon DSLRs on DXO top ten?

Or is it a joke some friends jumping brands years ago, & now it seems the opposite?
What's your ha ha for?
