Bad Pixels after 2 weeks....

Could anyone tell me if I should have bad pixels in my EVF and CCD after only a couple of weeks. I just noticed today after shooting about 50 shots in low light that I have some bad pixels. I tried Pixel mapping the camera (C-720) and they are still there. Should I return camera or is there something else that I can do. I am just starting to like this camera.

Sooner or later, bad or stuck pixel will start to develop, but two weeks is a little fast. If the store will do a even exchange I would go for it. If they are hard balls, I would wait a little while and then use your warrenty.

I know my Olympus warrenty went out a while back and I had one stuck pixel, but I still have a three year warrenty that covers anything, so I plan to get the best out of it before I send it back. Buy the time the three years are up there may be a 5mp 10X zoom or a cheaper DSLR that I may part my 2100 for.

I tested the 700, 720, 2100, & E20. I took a picture of the lens cap on auto.

Results: 700, pretty good, B, it had some bad pixels, 8-10. After snapping 20 pictures in succession to get the CCD warm, I tried it again. Still pretty good, B, many pixels, less than a hundred, some colored.

Results: 720, pretty good, B-, it had some bad pixels, 10-15. After snapping 20 pictures in succession to get the CCD warm, I tried it again. Still pretty good, B-, many pixels, about a hundred, some colored.

Results: 2100, not very good, C-, it had many bad pixels including some colored ones, 30-40. After snapping 20 pictures in succession to get the CCD warm, I tried it again. Not very good, C-, a starfield of pixels, it looked like I had gone outside in Africa and took a picture of the stars, many colored, many large areas of ruined pixels.

Results: E-20, amazing, A, it had no bad pixels, 0. After snapping 20 pictures in succession to get the CCD warm, I tried it again. Still amazing, A-, some pixels, 20-25, 2-5 colored.
