My most unusual pelican shot to date... and I've taken hundreds!! :-)

He managed to stay on that tiny spot on the rail for nearly 10 minutes! And, yes he did finally jump from the rail.

Someone passing by asked.. "is he going to commit?"
Some people just have morbid thoughts all the time, jeez...... lol

I'm going to post this in my OWN online gallery in a few minutes.

Photosig sometimes has trouble that way... usually all you have to do is hit the refresh button in IE and the image shows up. Pain in the ss if you ask me!

hey... it's natures' way :-)

How is anyone to figure out why this particular pelican decides to hang on to the very edge of the railing in a maybe 12 inch square area ?

Without these interesting quirks of nature, life would be boring!!

Mark, have you thought about putting together a "pelican calendar" and selling it through the FL gift shops, or via Seaworld or some such place? You have enough wonderful pelican shots to do it.
