My first try of this combo. Thanks for looking!

You will get a more dramatic fish eye effect if you get closer to the subject with this combo, though I understand you wanted to get the entire building in so you couldn't get closer. I stop this down (I have this combo) to f8 to get the corners a little sharper. The CA zapper in LR4 eliminates most of the CA but I still get purple fringing in the corners which the zapper doesn't zap. Turn down purple by 50% to get most of this under control. Only do this if you have high contrast objects in the corners which will give you the purple fringing, otherwise, don't do it. Have fun with it and enjoy the bent lines. I have.

Very cool picture! I got the UWA adapter instead of the fish eye... but your picture makes me want both now!

Thank you! JAW I will try your suggestions and post it here next time.

All the best !

This is an amazing addition to my system. I got it at a good price $110 (Sony
VCL-ECF1 E-Mount Fisheye Conversion Le) with free shipping.

Just need to get the availability of the 16mm improved so we can all have a go at pictures like these using the converter.

I picked up a used 16 with the wide converter just to try it out...I had very low expectations based on reviews. I have to say though that it's my favorite lens now! So much fun and very sharp for most of the frame. I've been looking for cases where the poor corner sharpness has detracted, but I just have not seen it. If I do encounter that, I'll crop it out but when I am looking for IQ at the edges, stopping down to f/8 does the trick. I reviewed my past 10-15mm shots with a Sigma and Nikon 10-24 and those corners were not great either so it's no big deal - pretty typical for these kind of lenses.

The UWA adapter really makes the 16mm lens work for me...without it, I'd probably not carry it and just be happy with 18mm as my wide. But wow - the UWA is a real gem. I need to pick up a fisheye now - looks like another fun one!
I will post some pics later from my trip to Williamsburg, VA.
