That's not likely, I think, given the relatively small number of people interested in this topic.

It's hard to see who's to blame in this. If Amazon UK can't get the units (as they seem to be saying) then their hands are tied. They don't appear to be taking orders at any price ATM. If however, they re-open orders at some later date (after having off-loaded those who pre-ordered at a lower price) that would strike me as a bit shabby.

Taking the broad view, there simply aren't enough D800 units to go around right now - and no amount of complaining is going to change that (while having the unfortunate side-effect of probably not being very healthy).
