Kodak DX 4330 vs. hp photosmart 720

Greetings:

PLEASE give me some advise! I am trying to buy my first dig cam and I have a chance to buy the Kodak DX 43330 or the hp photosmart 720 for the same price. Which would be the best choice for a beginner that is mostly interested in the best picture, least costly to use and the easiest to use? (I really want a 3 pixel.)

I would recommend the Kodak - it is a newer model with better features. A friend of mine has the HP; it is average in picture quality, high nois at high res setting, and has mechanical problems (lens cover sticks). One disadvantag more: you can only choose between 3 Megapixel and VGA (640x480), nothing in between.
