And what software are you printing from? Usually after you set the driver to 4x6 borderless you have to crop th eimage to the same ratio and fit to page.

Use the Canon Easy-Photoprint software if you don't want to go through these steps.

I usually go into photoshop and crop the picture as a 4x6 and then save it.

I then go into my Canon software (the one that prints my 4x6's) and open it up in there and it prints perfectly. Give it a try..........Bruce

Thanks i'm using the software that came with the s820 i go over to properties and select 4x6 but it won't print it ,but the program wants to change it to a a4 size . i'll give it another try and see what happens.

OK, I think I know what is happening. After you go through your print advisor (the little owl lad) click on the second tab at the top of your print page (Paper I think). There is a Check Box for Borderless printing there. Even after I tell the software what paper I am using I still have to select that to ensure edge-to-edge printing.

I don't think it is the paper, it could be your image. It has to be of the exact ratio (of 4x6), otherwise you can only achieve borderless on either the horizontal side or vertical side. Check also your print drive properties for '100%' scale (I can't remember the exact term but it was on the first tab in print drive properties).
