New EVF of 1.44M dots is the spec that I was waiting for. Some improvement over 921,000 dots.
Number of dots is not the only parameter but still... 800x600 pixels vs 640x480 -- that's not that big jump I've expected.

Thanks. It is interesting that the size of the NX20 has hardly changed from the NX10:

122 x 90 x 40mm vs 123 x 87 x 39.8. So 1mm narrower, 3mm higher and virtually the same depth despite the articulating screen. It is also lighter and they retained the same battery, which is convenient for upgraders.

Omg, the NX1000 is available in pink. The designer must be a Pentax defector. Still, the black version looks neat.

lower res than sony nex7. I'm disappointed..

Thanks Jay, any news you can share on US pricing/availability?

Once again disappointed. I was hoping for a NX200 style camera with articulated screen but it doesn't appear to be happening and the NX20 with articulated screen is not what I am after. To be honest what I am really looking for is a EX1 with a larger sensor.
RMW487.

Thankfully, Samsung allows for a cable shutter remote. But unfortunately it seems they changed to some USB connector. Probably, this will make it impossible to use diy triggers. Sad.

then you should not need an integrated evf and get the nx 210. if you want an integrated evf like I do, then you should want the best one oncthe market, which is not the one selected for this nx20.

NX20 $1099 - Available in ealry May.
NX210 $899 - Available in mid May.
NX1000 $TBA - Available in mid June.

Still, I hear numerous complaints about the Sony NEX 7 viewfinder (slow to turn on, doesn't stay activated, crushes blacks), so I guess it is personal taste. Resolution isn't the only important factor in an EVF. I am more concerned on how well it works with glasses, etc. Hopefully this one is improved from the NX11.

I honestly don't plan on using the viewfinder much on the NX20, I like it better than the NX210 because that camera is awkward for me to use. The NX11 has a much better grip, and the articulated screen on the NX20 will be used 95% of the time anyway. I might use the viewfinder for the rare shot where the sun is hitting the LED display just right that I can't see it or shield it with my hands/body.

Did I see it right, it says "compressed raw". If true NX210 is for me. I wonder how big is the compressed raw file.

you are right, of course! though, I'm disappointed since my main use for internal EVF would be focusing with legacy lenses, and for that purpose, the more resolution, the better.

besides the nx20 for me is far overpriced, so I'll be looking for some used nx200 in the sub 400 euro range, now that the nx210 is out. I'll get the same performance "IQ wise" (same sensor), while waiting for a future better integrated EVF in the NX1 or NX30.

I agree on that. I don't think there is one single CSC out there with a fully articulated screen and without EVF. Looking at the number of models that have been out, I really don't see why they all try to do the same?? DSLR style body with articulated screen, or rangefinder style with fixed screen...
