I like the stippling effect - it is like a print from a Zinc Plate Etching with aquatint. The burnt umber shade gives this image a feel of nostalgia. Very nice!

Not that many trees here in my neighborhood; so, the hummies tend to perch on the highest electrical wires. Thank you for commenting, Rick.

I believe they are, Maarten!!!!

Excellent image, Jim.. great DOF - all in focus, from the first to the last barrel! Tons of fine detail and metallic feel perfectly rendered.. I can almost smell the stale beer, LOL .. thanks for sharing :D ..

Adorable picture of waterfront, Michel.. lovely medieval town with fine architecture, attractive part are the boats drying out at low tide and very dynamic cloud formations are beautifully completing the image.. excellent capture and PP work, thanks for sharing :D ..

Thanks guys for your kind commets.

David, I used to work in Palo Alto - University Avenue, and go out to lunch in Menlo Park. My favorite was Apple Wood Pizza which is still there and also Cook's Fish Market who serves excellent Fish & Chips - Lee, I don't think they're as good as ones in England tho. Anyway, Jeffrey's Hamburger and Su Hong Chinese are other good place to have a bite.

Cheers

I love this pict for some reasons. Too bad (for me), the slope seems quite stiff !

Nice view.

I was here in September last year. Much love locks at the beginning of the bridge but no accordionist that day.

Lovely set, Max.. really like the vantage point of the first picture, makes me feel as I'm also sitting on that train (and exchanging glances with the light-haired lady ;) - kidding of course) .. pleasant symmetry study on the second image, thanks for sharing, mate.
