>>>> Street Photography eXchange #9 <<<<

Found this woman trying on shoes during a street flea market. She was checking me out as I was her.

Interesting moment. Lots of colorful detail.

Your post was hard to notice because you shot in reply to another post in flat view. New photos are supposed to be posted in reply to the first post, done in threaded view.

It is not so easy to get a shot like this where no two people are in the same space.

This is the best of the three, and very good indeed.

BTW, in American English, a bus boy is someone who clears the table (buses the table) in a restaurant. This confused me for about 2 seconds.
Thanks,

Plastically very interesting object. Color musters are good too.

Nevertheless I miss a spatial context

p.s. image too large for mine display(vertically), impossible to see as a whole, pity..

Agree.,
in an ideal I would prefer that two guys on the right weren't there

Al,

It is possible to zoom out on text and pictures (make smaller). I do that to make photos fit the screen, then zoom in again after looking at the photo.

In Firefox, the menu is
View --> Zoom out
View --> Zoom in

The keyboard shortcut (works for many programs) is
"Cmd -" or "Ctrl +"

I hope that helps.

These keyboard shortcuts work in 3 different browsers, Preview, LR and PS on my mac.

I use it all the time on my laptop, and often even on my large desktop monitor.

This looks like an extremely difficult capture to get. It almost looks like you were floating above the water. Water, plastic bubbles hands are all excellent. Is there any way to get more detail into the center face?

You did a great job at capturing a decisive moment.

Here is the photo minus the woman you don't like:

Sorry,Frank,
I didn't mean to crop woman,
spatially orig. frame works better

You see, twice before I bought one and sold it again, but I keep coming back to the "ole pipe".

Shoot through live view on outstretched arms.
The most difficult was to get bg without people..
Here is a crop from orig.frame:
actually,i think,face expression here less important then siluet
