Then why post at all ?i dont really care what you think
--Normally, I would ignore threads like this because I do not like being rude on the internet... there simply is not point. BUT you sir have no manners so here it is.
This photo fails for a number of reasons.
1) Could have been taken with anything. Any point & shoot and most good camera phones could have done this.
2) The photo has no real focus.
A) Could be the rust but there is too much going on.
B) Could be the graffiti but it is illegible thus annoying.
C) Shadows? Nah
D) The Object? WTH is it?
E) The plants growing on top of it- Again not tight enough.
3) Lighting is also unbalanced so I think it would look truly odd framed or mounted.
I could go on but I think you get my point (plus my dinner is ready). There is ART there... Yes, you need to go back and "SEE" it. As far as capturing it goes, your effort was a fail.
As your photo stands, the only way it can be art is- Print it and have Andy Warhol urinate on it.
--Did you go for the soft focus effect on purpose or was that a quickie grab shot?
If you're using a D7000, it has a pretty nice lens tuning function... you might want to give it a try and see if you can sharpen up that lens a little.
--What does your camera's specs have to do with your ability to create? The D7000 is a nice camera but it's not "all-that". It it does not make you a professional if you own one. There are guys with REAL PRO cameras like the D4 who are little more than hobbyists with fat wallets.
Like I said, this could have been taken with an iPhone.
ZZZZZZZZZZZAdvantages of the Nikon D7000
