D800 live view screen flicker - very bad

my d800 screen view in live view is flickering very badly

have tried all 3 settings to reduce the flicker -- none seem to impact, or negate the horrid flicker...

how bad is live view flicker on your d800??
 
No flickering at all in LV on my D800.
 
Does it affect your recorded video? If you read the manual, it does mention that flicker can happen under certain conditions.

I bet it is your interior lighting causing it.

I get it too sometimes with my D800 in Manual mode indoors (florescent lighting).

It disappears when I use A/S/P mode though.




Tried some pictures in CL and CH mode and there are slightly different shades of color. Was really bad with my D600 in same situation, but otherwise outdoors or at other places, no problem. Is this natural? (Should I be returning/exchanging the D800?)
