Hello everyone,

Just want to find out how to take nice photos on cloudy days? Since I always like to use 'auto' mode on day-time, kindly share your experience what is the good combination that u guys always use on manual mode ?

Thanks for your reply.

Auto should work fine on cloudy days. The exposure is not very contrasty and is pretty easy as long as you don't have the sky in the picture (aim down to exclude the sky when locking exposure).

You might want to set WB to Cloudy, but I haven't found this to be necessary.

If you want to try full manual, start with ISO50, 1/60th second, f/5.6. Check the histogram to ensure a decent exposure and shoot freely as long as your subject is lit by the overcast sky.
