I realize I never properly introduced myself..

Guys, beards are super sexy !!
BUT they have to be VERY short and super well maintained, that's the catch.
Repeat : SUPER short.

I hassle my husband sp he keeps a short beard, but most of the times he's too busy to maintain one so he just shaves instead.
But don't write the beard off just yet, it certainly has its appeal ;) !

Thanks again for the hints. My shots were originally only meant to demonstrate how flash metering on the X10 differs when the subject moves slightly, that's why they are uncropped ooc JPGs. Just pulled the images out again here, cause it fit the topic.

One of the challenges of our home is this "tunnel" with a window on one side, dark kitchen on one end and bright balcony door on the other end (when it's day outside). Hard to properly flash in there, hard to do without flash. Again, only demonstration shots where I was testing focus speed and flash behavior and generally practiced how to tackle these hurdles. So don't care for red eyes, motion blur, flash reflections and stuff.

Also demonstrates one of the reasons why I really need an articulated screen, I am too large for the small world of kids.

Perhaps, but my wife prefers that I keep mine bushy. It's a lot easier than carrying around a stick to fend off all the swooning young ladies. :|
