It wasn't the camera that added noise ..It was photomatic
 
Well, the 2nd image clearly has a few orbs, particularly on the left side.

Don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't exchange my X10 for any other camera (within the same price range).

Very nice shots by the way, both are very impressive.

Yes they do look a bit ORBISH
 
you got orbs even so they decorated with some star shine on the front of the tram where the sun reflects (more star after fw update to distract from orb).

We get away with it in that shot but in other occasions we may be upset as it can ruin a shot. Never less don't see it to negative I have a good feeling about the Fuji getting on top of this with new sensor. The camera is worth the money when they have fixed it. Right now its a nice camera but not for every shooting scenario.
