Attention Sony Corp:Why do i have to duck tape my A77 to lock settings!!!

This is unacceptable sony!

why cant you simply add a way
to "LOCK" settings on your Alpha A77!!!

(the nex 7 even has locking settings)

I have RUINED shots i could have made
$Thousands$ of dollars with, had not
these "weak" dials turned!!!

Tonight was the last stray!

I Had Pop Star Rihanna looking Good tonight , coming
out of a Limo,She lookd right at me
and smiled, and all my frames are Pitch Black!!
I looked at my settings, and the aperture dial
turned to f14!! ( i had it set at 7.1)

All my dials can easily turn, including the Flash power Button!

















now i have to "duck" tape
The dial wheel
the shutter wheel
the aperture wheel
and the Flash Power Button

Because EVERY LAST one turns, when
resting against your waist
or when sitting inside a camera bag

and i dont want to hear from some
NON PRO shooters about yours dont turn!!

I am equivalent to the "Marines' when it comes
to shooting!! I make BIG DOLLARS, and it all goes down in miliseconds, and
i dont have time to check settings every 5 minutes!!

I tried to put sony on the map in the Paprarzzi World,(I am the only
shooter that i know of shooting Sony)but I'm
feed up loosing $money$, and about to go back to Canon or Nikon!!

If sony thinks its going to enter the Pro Sports world with the 500mm F4, and this Sony A77, think again!!
I promise you this , once a pro shooter is on the football field running around
trying to get a shot, with 2 cameras dangling from there shoulders, i GUARANTEE
you there settings will definitely change, and there shots ruined
....just wait and see!!!

BTW: I've seen neater ducktaping jobs.

Buy a NEX 5N - all the settings are nicely hidden for you in an obscure menu system.

Is that Camo tape? I guess that's because you're a Marine of the Pap world right?

Being a Paprarzzi, I have not the least bit of sympathy for you, along with the fact your in the wrong forum. You're not content with annoying celebrities, and stealing there privacy, you have to come to the wrong forum and annoy us. If you want to fix your camera, try putting it under a trucks wheels. I don't give a rats tail about you or your camera. You guys are nothing but a bunch of parasites, that give honest photographers a bad name. You can't make it in the real world of photography, where quality counts, not who's in the photo. Now go whine in another forum.

So maybe it really IS duck tape? Did you think of that?

Simple solution

Turn it off between shots. settings won't change.

Turn it on as you pick it up, Ready in plenty of time to capture fast moving subjects.

When you put the camera down, flick it off. Images will record to the card even when off.

So what does the Sony offer that Nikon, Canon, and others don't have that would keep you shooting Sony? the Zeiss lenses? that would be a draw for me.

There's a name for the way you make your money............, it rhymes with, "door". Yeah, your life is soooo exciting, hanging around restrooms waiting for movie stars to use it. You can call my life whatever amuses you, but there's one things your lifestyle will never be called......, respected. Don't bother replying I just put you on the "ignore" list.
