I know how to set bracketing to 3 different values (I think).
But how do I make the camera take 3 pictures with only one press at the trigger?
Thanks?

Press and hold "bkt" button on front of camera next to d90 name. Turn rear commander dial to right 1 click, top will say 3F, Turn front commander wheel to left until you get to desired "steps". Make sure you are on ch (continuous high speed). Hold shutter button and camera will fire off 3 quick shots 1+, 0 1-.

The other option is to switch to self timer and go into that section of the menu and set your timer shotys to 3 (default is 1). This will allow you to keep your hands off the camera, reducing shake.

How do I make sure that I am on ch?

But I wonder if multiple exposure (turn auto gain off) could work well for this. And it should give you a single raw file.

I've not tried it myself but I wonder if anyone has, seems like a reasonable idea.
