My 1DsMkII is trying to talk to me?

Last night I was shooting aurora:

It was a quiet night and when using the LCD illumination of my camera I suddenly heard it emitting a high pitch sound whenever the illumination was on.

Weird. I wonder what it wanted to say.

Perhaps tried to say "i can still take good shots, you don't have to buy a 5D III"

Hehe, it was just a little chilly.

in comparison to my other cameras the DsII has proved to be a low temp champ. The battery just never dies of cold.

But you are right, maybe the camera just wanted to have a pleasant evening by the fireside.

Happy St.Patrick's day! There's a photographer in Ireland called Garry Lee and he's driving tonight so the poor craythur hasn't wet the shamrock yet. Would ya go home and take somethin' for him..
