Battery Holder for SR2

Some good points. I'll say thank you for the information and the
connection to the cheaper tray, but I won't thank you for your tone
and your words. You can give advice and information without
demeaning people. Learn a little tact Rinus..It goes a lot farther.

My tone of voice and demeanor is so that you pay attention. It seems that whispering and simply posting in this forum often goes totally unnoticed. I have no problem with people jumping on me when I say dumb things but usually they have made me think and made a better person out of me.

The fact that you stuck with this post and came back with your remarks shows that you are more than just words. In a life conversation this would never had the negative taste because you would have understood that I am what I am and speak as I speak and that it is totally without malicious intend. The only reason I post here is to help. I sincerely hope that you can stop feeling offended.

That was a great post, and I agree with you whole heartedly. That's the problem with e-mail and forums is that you can't truely tell what someone's demeanor is when they post/type something. Sometimes things get blown way out of context.

I appreciate you words, comments, and information that you give here on this forum, and the fact that you like when people call you on something. It means that you actually give a d*mn. :-)

Take care, and have a good one.

Contrary to your example, I've found most Canadians polite and thoughtful. I know you wouldn't want us poor stupid Americans stereotyping your countryfolk with your obnoxiousness.

This dullard American found a real, trustworthy online store that offers the S2 trays (special order) for $12.90 USD.

http://www.henrys.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/PageDisplay?URL=%2Fwebapp%2Fwcs%2Fstores%2Fservlet%2FPageDisplay%3Fdest%3Dframes.jsp&currency=USD&dest=frames.jsp&storeId=10001

I've bought from Henry's before and got excellent service. I feel more comfortable working with a known entity than cutting a deal by email to a photo shop that doesn't come up in a Google search.

I'm guessing the extra tray price is so low because it's so cold up north you can't keep your camera working without warming a set of batteries in your underwear ;-)

Thanks for the info this is the best price anywhere. However, in trying to access the web page I was asked to enable my browser's cookies before I could get to the store. Could you please explain how to do this with AOL? Yes, I'm new at this as you can see.

The error is because you are following a link that is tied to someone elses cookie. Just try http://www.henrys.com/

Search for 576FUJ073. I was told they are not stocking tham and special ordering them as the requests come in. But I got 2 trays and shipped to US for $32.15. Not sure when they will get here. Bummer.

I am curious if the others that got their trays from Henry's had to wait? and how long it took?

Rinus-- Your pan is very nicely done and of a beautiful spot. I wonder if you have printed it and at what size?

Also, I wonder if you have a phone number for Mark and if he takes phone orders?

Thanks and regards--Paul Moyer

Hi paul, thanks for your comments.

Mark's number is 1(403) 932-6787 we are on Mountain daylight time.

I have not yet printed this as I am really looking for better software. My friend has an Epson 7600 and we'll see what it can do but I really want to restitch at much higher resolution. This image is 5" x 45" x 300ppi. I only used the images at the low res. of 2304 x 1536 pixels. It is half of what I want but Photoshop Elements had enough problems as it is. The full images would be 4 x larger and with 800 MB of memory it may be possible to make it work.

I was just notified of the PanaView Image Stitcher. It seems that Doug (a poster from Australia) has great success with it.

The day before yesterday, I ordered mine plus three spare monitorcaps via telephone from Fuji Service Germany. Today, I recieved all via snail-mail. The price including shipping was Euro 19,xx. This is very fast and fine service. And the price is more than fair.

Well done Fuji!

I ordered mine From Henry's on the 3rd also. I got my shipping email this morning @ 7:30 am. So it took about 2 weeks. If you ordered yours the same day, I would expect yours where in the same order. I just checked, and they billed my card on the 10th. Good Luck!

The mailman just handed me my trays.

They are EXACTLY the same thing that came with the camera, model number and all!

Time to back out and shot more snowy stuff!

Heres the actual response:

Hi John,

Thank you for your order. This is just a quick note to let you know that the item you ordered online is not currently in stock. It may take up to 3 weeks to ship this to you. Please advise if you would like to continue with this order, or cancel it.

Sincerely,
