G3 100-300 on the trail...coming out of hibernation...

Fantastic shot.

By the way, and been you an experienced GH2 and G3 owner.

What can you tell us about wide native m43 lenses, for family, travelling, landscapes, etc.?

Have you tried Panny 7-14? Which seems to be my best alternative for the 95% of my photography needs if I buy a m43 body.

Thanks in advance,

Ed

G3-EP3-GH2 7-14 Side X Side same shot...you can check detail and DR...

Excellent material for comparisons. I took the time to check details in the full size versions.

In your side-by-side comparisons, both Panny bodies deliver better than E-P3. And GH2 a little better than G3 when talking about details, which is what I care for.

Do you have more samples with this 7-14 lens, for instance some tipical touristic target as your beautiful German shots performed with the 12mm lens. In order to evaluate colors, contrast and straight lines.?

How did this 7-14 lens felt in the different bodies? Did you try also the 14mm extreme?

Does AF wiht this lens perform the same in Panny and Oly bodies?

What's your opinion about this lens?

Thanks again,

Ed

Superb shot. I like the snake shots, and the rest :) I haven't seen any snakes for a couple of weeks. You really make a good case for the lens... assuming that the rest of us can use it to your standard ;)
All the best,

Missed these and so glad I caught up with them. Such an excellent variety of shots and all extremely well take, very nice work LT. Excellent sharp details and darn good focus points. Just love the metallic coloured beetle, amazing.

All the best c and you can shoot mate, telling ya.

Worry about the image that comes out of the box, rather than the box itself.

Wonderfull Photograph's

Maybe a dumb question but,
would this lens work well on a EM5?

I'm not too worried about fast Focussing.

Thanks,

One of the reasons I have recently committing to the MFT form factor, to be able to have such an amazing focus range from such a small and light package.

In this case 200-600 equivalent and the very close 1.5M focussing abillity.

Great images, LT ! Were these all recorded in bursts ? Auto-focus set to AF-S (or set to AF-C) ?

Hi DM...yes always in Continuous Shutter Mode and AF-S...thats mt story and I am sticking to it...

Most of these were with the Canon 72mm Close Up lens on the 100-300...but quite many that were with the lens alone...
