Nex-7 EVF noticeable issue

Hey everyone,

I noticed last night while looking though my EVF some definite flicker depending on what was being viewed on it. The worst example was the menu. I recorded a rough video illustrating what I saw:

Is this isolated to my unit? Has anyone else had issues with their camera's viewfinder?

Mine did that about once or twice when I first got it, and was pretty worried, but hasn't done it since. If it's still doing it pretty regularly on yours it may be defective...sorry man.

I guess I'll keep an eye on it for the next week and if things don't get better I'll probably exchange or return it.

When changing ISO or aperture settings I also notice an occasional flicker as well. Is that normal or part of the same underlying issue.

I have not seen this in my unit. If mine were to do this, I'd return it immediately.

I agree, this does not look good.

Hmm...looks like an iffy connection to me. Hasn't happened yet on mine, but I'm sure it will given my luck!

Never had that issue in the two and a half months that I've had it.

This brings me to think if it might be if the second batch's quality control not as good? The pre flood production vs post flood production. Just a thought =/
