Flight into the sunset, with the 45/1.8. Raw capture, processed in Lightroom 4.

Sinking below the horizon..

With the 25/1.4, framing the last color with a nearby tree..

Venus and Jupiter are closing in on one another, and I had to think of a way to capture the pair, choosing this with the 25/1.4..

Thank you, both.

The last image was shot at ISO 200, handheld, 1/80 second using aperture priority at f1.4. Focus on the tree limbs.

Spot metered on the sky to turn all the branches and leaves completely black and adjusted the exposure compensation until I liked the shade of blue in the sky, which was at -1.7. Captured raw and processed in Lightroom 4, which mainly consisted of sharpening for the limbs and masking all sharpening from the sky.

I love the last one too. Can you let us know your settings?
