I have been using WEINK's Camel Ultra-FLO CRS ) for about 6 months
with my Epson 780. I used to have problems with clogging using the
original Epson cartridges. Since I began using the continuous
inking system (CIS), I have not had clogging problems. I used
profile prism to create the profiles for my printer and papers, and
am happy with the results. I started out using WeInk's dye based
inks. I am now changing over to the pigment based inks. I have
not had any clogging problems with the pigmented inks, and am in
the processes of creating the best profiles for them.
Roger, I am interested in using the pigmented inks for the Camel
for the S900, how fast do the inks dry, is there much smudging of
the inks, and do you have any materism from the pigmented inks,
what papers seem to work best with the pigmented inks, thanks for
your help.
I use Office Depot Glossy, Office Depot Satin, and Office Depot
Premium Matte Presentation Paper. The inks come off the printer
dry to touch and can be stacked on of the papers. I do not
percieve any Materism with the matte paper. The ink lies on
surface of the glossy and satin papers, thus materism more evident
on the glossy than the satin. The OD matte paper is very thin, but
I think most matte papers would work well with these inks.
